Out for a week
This week I have to go to some sort of corporate leadership training/retreat thingie in Leavenworth. We get to learn all about "interpersonal awareness, cross-group collaboration, strategic insight and foundational competencies." I'm not exactly sure what that means, but hopefully it's more interesting than it sounds
. You know to be wary when the advertising material shows a group of people smiling unnaturally next to of one of those huge paper-pad things:

Apparently there will be no internet connection available (boo!), so while I'm gone I might disable comments since I won't be around to clean up the spam and crap that come as a result of being in the second page of Google results for "the end of false religion is near!" Once I'm back they'll be re-enabled, so don't worry!

Hey Eric – Which course is this? What prompted you to go to it? (also, where would I sign up?)

It’s called “College Select” and I guess it’s for people who graduated 1-2 years ago, so it’s probably too late for you to sign up
Dave is the one who prompted me to do it, and he mentioned that it’s sort of a new thing, so they probably didn’t have it way back in your day (though I think Mike said he did it, so who knows)
