Well, I rocked the Wii at siber's house last weekend, and I can honestly say I was not too impressed either. The sports games were alright, but in the boxing game, the gloves seemed to have motions of their own instead of duplicating the movements of the controllers, but maybe its just me

My main problem is that I have a projector, and the sensor bar's cord doesn't reach to the front of the room without getting in the way. The screen is also 80", which is a lot bigger than the Wii software seems to be expecting, so it's all off and there doesn't seem to be a way to calibrate your screen size.
Mine also de-interlaces and it doesn't look too bad, but at 480i you're only getting half the frame rate :(

I was skeptical at first, but the Wii-motes I have both seem to work really well. Scarily well, in fact. They are very precise and easy to aim whether shooting baddies or hovering over buttons. Let me know how the calibration goes.

I couldn't find component cables either, but my TV has a 480i to 480p converter, and it looks pretty good.
