GRE

I went to UW last week for the info session about their master's program. It sounds good, so I'm at least going to apply. On Saturday I'm taking the GRE test. I haven't really been studying for it - I assume it's relatively easy like the SAT. If nothing else at least I bought a GRE book at Borders:

  1. Somehow, I didn’t have to take the GRE.

What kinds of questions do they ask? Good luck!

  2. For the ‘verbal’ section it’s a bunch of analogy, sentence completion and reading comprehension questions. For the math section it’s a bunch of basic geometry and algebra questions (not even calculus). Pretty basic.

  3. Yeah the tests are pretty basic, but its hard to remember stuff you haven’t done since like middle school/freshman year in HS!

knowing you you’re gonna score pretty high regradless if you look at the book or not.

    goodluck man!

I just got accepted into my grad program yay!

  4. Well, it was harder than I though it would be, but I did a good amount better than the average score of people accepted to the UW program, so that’s all that really matters. Since it was a computer test it gives you your scores immediately at the end, which was nice.
