I initially resisted getting Leopard because of reported problems, but made the switch because Boot Camp Assistant expired and I needed to resize a partition. My computer used to fail to come out of sleep with Tiger, and Apple replaced the motherboard to fix that! I still have trouble with the computer recognising my wireless network, but I had just as much trouble with Tiger.

try the sp3 beta and let us know how it goes.

Here's just one of my Vista stories: I have a scanner that worked great on vista and one day it just stopped working. after upgrading drivers and many restarts I concluded the scanner had died.

On a whim I plugged it in to my mac and pressed the "scan" button on the scanner and it just worked.

I already upgraded to Leopard on my laptop. So far it hasn't been all that great. I don't use any of the new features, and now it often fails to come out of sleep mode and has trouble recognizing my wireless network..
